Rocket EMS is dedicated to obtaining components and materials from companies that place a high emphasis on human rights, ethics, and environmental stewardship. We expect all of our suppliers to follow our Supplier Code of Conduct, which forbids human rights violations and unethical business activities. All vendors must also adhere to all applicable legal requirements and norms. The final conflict minerals rule was released by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) on August 22, 2012, under Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (the “Conflict Minerals Rule”). The Conflict Minerals Rule compels publicly traded firms to declare the presence of conflict minerals (tin, tungsten, tantalum, and gold, or “3TG”) originating in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or neighbouring countries (“Covered Countries”) on an annual basis.
Rocket EMS is committed to helping the Covered Countries achieve their aim of reducing violence, human rights violations, and environmental destruction. We are dedicated to meeting any Conflict Minerals Rule obligations that apply to our business.
In order to establish conflict minerals compliance processes, Rocket EMS seeks to work cooperatively with our customers and supply chain partners. We require all of our suppliers to submit conflict minerals declarations that are prepared using the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template.
