Michael Kottke, President and Founder
Michael’s vision is for Rocket to be an impact provider for high technology companies. He works to connect the company with his vision and keep it on track to meet its goals. Michael’s desire to improve people’s lives has fueled Rocket’s rapid expansion. In his effort to establish Rocket as a premier brand, his entrepreneurship, ethics, and respect are apparent differentiators.
Michael built and co-founded three highly successful Contract Manufacturing companies in Silicon Valley prior to Rocket.
He has helped his customers develop a number of successful products that have established records both in Silicon Valley and around the world. Michael exudes exceptional credibility, passion, and a never-say-die attitude. His legacy has aided numerous OEMs in achieving their Initial Public Offerings and establishing themselves as industry leaders. His impact on the EMS business is undeniable.

Scott Schaetzle, Executive Vice President
Scott joined Rocket in July 2011 and helped to establish our internal CAD department, which is now one of Silicon Valley’s best layout teams. Scott has vast experience with mechanical, thermal, electrical, signal integrity, PCB layout, fabrication, assembly, and test in the hardware development process. He delivers the leadership and operational skills needed to keep a high-output, best-in-class organisation running smoothly, and he works closely with clients to guarantee a smooth transition into our manufacturing operation.
Scott was a co-founder and former CEO of Millennium Design, Inc., a world-class PCB design and engineering firm. He formerly worked at Flextronics International and Fine Line Design, where he held management positions. Scott spent ten years in the US Navy in the anti-submarine warfare community, working in advanced electronics disciplines on prototype missile and sonar systems.
